20 Sims 2 Clean Neighborhoods

Creating the neighborhood edit edit source. To keep your neighborhoods clean you should consider installing antiredundancy and notownieregen.

Go to where you have installed the sims 2.

Sims 2 clean neighborhoods. They include only the playable sims with no townies or npcs. Put directly in your documentsea gamesthe sims 2neighborhoods folder or your install location the sims 2 seasonstsdataresuserdataneighborhood s folder. Browse the folder in my documentsea gamesthe sims 2neighborhoodsn004characters if this is your first custom neighborhood it will be n004if the folder is not empty then you did the steps wrong and will have to repeat it all over again.

Browse to the userdata neighbourhoods folder. This will be cprogram filesea gamesthe sims 2 by default. Quit right after the neighborhood shows up.

If you choose the latter make sure you take backups of your existing templates first. I havent tested option 2 but it should work. Youll need to regenerate the neighborhoods folder in documents for the new hoods to show up.

Do not create any sims in cas. The sims 2tsdataresuserdataneighborhoods rename the n001 folder to anything such as n001 bak. Create your custom neighborhood the normal way.

Open the sims 2 and start a brand new neigbourhood in the normal way. After creating this hood alt tab or exit to windows and check your new neighbourhood character folder if this is your first custom neighbourhood this will be my documentsea gamesthe sims 2neighborhoodsn004characters. This prevents the default townies from being created in new neighborhoods.

Installation instructions are included in each zip. Put directly in your documentsea gamesthe sims 2neighborhoods folder or your install location the sims 2tsdataresuserdataneighborhoods folder.
